The tools described in this section provide new ways to more efficiently communicate information and encourage active participation within the conservation community. There are free versions of all the services described herein and most are user-friendly for administration and participation.
As you review the applications in this section, keep in mind that many new and synergistic uses of these tools have not even been envisioned yet. Along the same lines, the inherent conservation potential of these applications has not been fully explored or assessed and the goal of this guide is to provide conservation professionals with the knowledge to utilize these tools in creative and innovative ways.
